An 8-hour class that pairs ground school with hands-on flight training. When a suspect flees and goes to ground, flying around by hand leaves gaps you never see. Precision Static Suspect Search is an 8-hour class that pairs ground school with hands-on flight training. It teaches your team to build a defined search area from the perimeter and last known point, then fly a systematic autonomous thermal grid with the right overlap, speed, and altitude.
Pilots practice holding overwatch the moment a heat signature appears, guiding ground units and K9 straight to contact, and picking the grid back up so the rest of the area stays covered. Graduates leave able to say with confidence, "This area has been systematically searched," and to back it up in their reports.
