Conquer the Skies: A Beginner's Guide to FPV Drone Domination

Learn how to operate your FPV drone and how to fly safely.

This is an FPV Drone Flight Training class focusing on drone safety and operation. The class covers:

Key Concepts:

Drone Safety: Pre-flight checks, emergency procedures (lost signal, safe landing), airspace regulations, and safe flight location selection.
FPV Drone Components: Understanding the frame, motors, propellers, flight controller, GPS, goggles, and remote controllers; setup and calibration.

Basic Drone Maneuvers: Takeoff and landing, basic flight controls (throttle, yaw, pitch, and roll), hovering, forward/backward/sideways flight, and basic turns. More advanced maneuvers are also covered, progressing in difficulty.

Navigation Skills: Understanding flight modes (stabilized vs. acro), developing spatial awareness, and using the FPV feed for navigation.
Low-Altitude Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance: Practicing safe flight at low altitudes and avoiding obstacles.

Class Objectives:

Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of safe FPV drone operation, from basic to intermediate skills. The class includes extensive hands-on flight practice.

Specific Skills Covered:

The class provides hands-on instruction and practice on 25 drone maneuvers, progressing from low to high difficulty. Safe practices are emphasized throughout.

Materials Needed:

FPV drone for each student
FPV goggles
Remote controllers
Safety gear (if applicable)
Space for practice flights (indoor/outdoor)
