SOAR Level 3 takes your skills to the next level. This advanced training builds upon previous levels, focusing on intricate flight paths, precise altitude control, and sophisticated camera operation. You'll learn to execute challenging maneuvers while simultaneously adjusting your camera angle for optimal shots, demanding a high level of coordination and skill. This intensive course prepares you for more demanding flight scenarios and professional-level camera operation.

  • Advanced Flight Maneuvers: Master complex flight patterns requiring precise control of altitude, direction, and speed. Learn to seamlessly integrate camera adjustments within these maneuvers.
  • Synchronized Camera Operation: Develop the ability to smoothly transition camera angles and framing while executing challenging flight maneuvers. Learn techniques for capturing dynamic and professional-looking footage.
  • Emergency Procedures & Recovery: Enhance your ability to handle unexpected situations and recover from challenging flight conditions. This includes advanced failsafe techniques and emergency landing procedures.

    Class Objectives:

    Upon completion of SOAR Level 3, students will be able to confidently execute advanced drone maneuvers, synchronize flight with precise camera work, and effectively manage challenging flight situations. Students will demonstrate proficiency in advanced camera techniques, resulting in high-quality footage. They will also exhibit a mastery of emergency procedures and an in-depth understanding of complex airspace considerations.

Specific Skills Covered:

Students will gain hands-on experience and practice executing a range of complex flight maneuvers involving varying altitudes, directions, and camera angles. The course emphasizes safe operating procedures and the integration of flight and camera skills. Successful completion requires demonstration of proficiency in all areas.

Each participant who successfully completes the training is awarded a certificate. 

Notice:  This is not a FAA Part 107 Training. This is however a hands-on flight training with some in-class instruction.

How much does S.O.A.R. - Level 3 training cost

$200 per participant.  

What's the class size?

Classes are limited to four participants for safe, focused UAV instruction.

Will I need my own drone?

Yes.  Unfortunately we cannot provide drones for use during the class. 

How long is this class?

Approximately 3 hours with 2 hours being hands-on flight training.
