  Tax Note (U.S. Only): If you earn $600 or more in referral rewards from us in a single calendar year, we are required by IRS rules to issue you a Form 1099-NEC (Nonemployee Compensation) by January 31 of the following year. This reports the payments as income. Under $600 per year? No form is needed, but the rewards are still considered taxable income on your personal taxes. Consult a tax professional if needed.
