PUBLIC SAFETY UAS TRAINING
TALON
TACTICAL AERIAL LEARNING & OPERATIONS NEXUS
Hands-on, standards-based drone training for law enforcement, fire, and search & rescue teams. TALON takes your pilots from their first operator course through advanced, command, and specialty mission training, all built around NIST flight standards and real-world scenarios.
Every class pairs ground school with live flight time, so your team leaves mission-ready with skills they can use on the next call and documentation they can stand behind.
WHO IS TALON UAS TRAINING FOR?
Sworn Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, and SAR Members
Sworn officers, firefighters, and search & rescue members of recognized agencies.
PART 107 CERTIFIED
FAA Part 107 certification required for all TALON classes, except Command School and agency pilots flying under a public aircraft COA (Certificate of Waiver or Authorization).
CORE TALON TRAINING
START HERE
Three core schools build the foundation for every TALON specialty course.
FEATURED COURSE
PRECISION STATIC SUSPECT SEARCH
When a suspect flees and goes to ground, flying around by hand leaves gaps you never see. This 8-hour course teaches your team to build a defined search area from the perimeter and last known point, then fly a systematic autonomous thermal grid with the right overlap, speed, and altitude.
Pilots practice holding overwatch the moment a heat signature appears, guiding ground units and K9 straight to contact, and picking the grid back up so the rest of the area stays covered.
