WILDLIFE & LAND SURVEYS
KNOW WHAT IS ON YOUR LAND.
Thermal drone deer counts, habitat assessments, and livestock and predator monitoring across Mid-Michigan.
Our thermal drones find heat signatures through dense cover, snow and low light, spotting animals that ground surveys and trail cameras miss.
You get accurate counts, GPS-mapped reports and management recommendations, with minimal stress on the animals.

FAQ
QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Can you help find a deer I shot?
No. Michigan law doesn't allow using drones to recover deer, so we don't offer it. For recovery help, contact a licensed blood-tracking dog handler.
Is it legal?
Yes. We're FAA Part 107 certified and fully insured, and every survey strictly follows Michigan DNR conservation laws.
Our drones are for counting, monitoring and habitat assessment.
We never use them to harass wildlife or to help take game, and we fly only over land we have permission to survey.
Will the drone bother the deer?
We fly at 200 to 300 feet and the drones run quietly, so they cause little to no disturbance. We fly responsibly and never low or aggressively.
When is the best time for a survey?
Late winter, January through March, gives the clearest counts. There's less leaf cover, snow adds contrast, and deer gather on their winter range.
Preseason surveys from August through October are great for antler development and fawn recruitment.
What information will I receive?
Deer numbers observed, buck-to-doe and fawn ratios, GPS-pinned locations for onX Hunt or Google Maps, and photos of key animals.
Thermal footage and habitat overlays are available if you want them.
How much does a survey cost?
Call or email for a quote. Pricing depends on acreage and what you want in the report.
What area do you cover?
We cover Genesee, Oakland, Lapeer, Livingston, Shiawassee, Saginaw and Tuscola counties. Jobs outside those counties are available, with travel added.
